Charley’s Cheesesteak is set to open in the space that used to be a McDonalds inside the Centereach Mall Walmart off Middle Country Road.

 

According to the Charleys Cheesesteak website the restaurant will be coming soon but no date has been announced. There are six other restaurants already on Long Island, mostly inside food court malls like Roosevelt Field, Deer Park Tanger Outlet or Smith Haven.

 

Charleys Cheesesteak started in 1986 as a local cheesesteak shop just off The Ohio State University’s campus, the restaurant website says. Since then, Charleys Cheesesteak franchises can be found in 700 locations in 46 U.S. states and in 17 countries.

 

Charleys Cheesesteak offers a number of different cheesesteaks on their menu including a Chicken Buffalo, Bacon Cheesesteak, Chicken Teriyaki, and the classic Philly Steak Cheesesteak. They have regular, cheese and cheese and bacon fries as sides.
