Update - January 23, 2015 - The Third Squad has identified the deceased as Kenneth Crane, 60, no known address.

Herricks, NY - January 20th, 2015 - The Third Squad reports a fatal aided discovered on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 1:40 p.m. in Herricks.

According to detectives, an unknown male white was discovered deceased in the woods in the vicinity of Old Searingtown Road and Searingtown Road. The male was wearing black pants, a tan olive jacket, blue hooded sweatshirt and blue sneakers. The body was transported to the medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death.
