Lake Ronkonkoma, NY - January 21st, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at a TD Bank branch in Lake Ronkonkoma today.
A man entered TD Bank, located at 474 Portion Road, demanded cash from a teller and threatened the use of a gun at approximately 1:45 p.m. The man then fled the bank on foot westbound on Portion Road. The man was described as white, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black mask and a yellow raincoat.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
