Hicksville, NY - January 21st, 2015 - The Second Squad reports the arrest of a man for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance that occurred on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 3:15pm in Hicksville.
According to detectives, two Bureau of Special Operations officers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop of the defendant Anthony Montez-Luis, 56, who has no known address, while he was operating a 1999 Taurus on Heitz Place. During the investigation the officers discovered a pill bottle on the rear seat containing Marijuana. After placing the defendant under arrest they also discovered a black bag containing approximately 4 oz. of cocaine on the front passenger floor of the vehicle.
Montez-Luis is charged with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and will be arraigned on Wednesday January 21, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
