Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame Announces Judi Lach Veeck as Executive Director
The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) is pleased to announce that Judi Lach Veeck, from Hampton Bays, has joined the organization as Executive Director.
"It’s an honor to lead an organization that celebrates Long Island’s rich musical heritage,” said Lach Veeck. “I'm thrilled to contribute to the growth and outreach of our mission, alongside our dedicated board and volunteers! My goals are to diversify funding and to increase awareness of our mission and outreach programs.”
Judi Lach Veeck is a highly accomplished nonprofit executive with proven expertise in fundraising, marketing, image enhancement, and government relations. Her responsibilities for LIMEHOF will include overseeing operations and fundraising activities, organizing and applying for grants, and working with the board of directors to identify prospects.

A long-time board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals of LI (AFPLI), Judi has over thirty years of experience in working with nonprofits and fundraising. She also has a strong track record of identifying organizational needs and developing specific campaigns and initiatives.
Prior to joining LIMEHOF, Judi served as Administrator for the Education Foundation for Suffolk County Extension, Inc., and as Director, Development & Public Affairs for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County.
Judi holds a Master of Arts in Social & Public Policy from Empire State University, and she earned her bachelor’s degree from Marist College.

Founded in 2004, the Long Island Music Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the idea that Long Island’s musical and entertainment heritage is an important resource to be celebrated and preserved for future generations. The organization, which encompasses New York State’s Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Kings (Brooklyn) Counties, was created as a place of community that inspires and explores Long Island music and entertainment in all its forms. In 2022, LIMEHOF opened its first Hall of Fame building location in Stony Brook Village. To date, the organization has inducted more than 130 musicians and music industry executives, and offers education programs, scholarships, and awards to Long Island students and educators.
