The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, have announced their 2025 regular season theme games schedule. The lineup features five specialty jersey theme nights in which all game-worn jerseys will be sold through auctions to benefit various non-profit organizations on Long Island.

The first theme night of 2025 is Faith and Family Night on Wednesday, Jan. 22, when the LI Nets face the Windy City Bulls in a matchup at Nassau Coliseum. The first 500 fans to arrive will receive a rally towel and the evening will include a special choir performance by Perfecting Faith Church in Freeport, N.Y.

In February, the Nets will host their annual Black History Celebration game, presented by Urban League of Long Island. The first 500 fans will receive a rally towel and LI Nets players will wear a kente-inspired jersey with all auction proceeds going to Urban League of Long Island. To celebrate Black History Month, the Nets will host a basketball clinic for 50 kids on Sunday, Feb. 9, at Nassau Coliseum from 3-4:30 p.m. Later in the month, the Nets will host CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) Night and Dale the Eagle’s birthday celebration on Friday, Feb. 21. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a LI Nets x CYO t-shirt and proceeds from the game-worn jersey auction will go towards CYO of Long Island. To round out the month, on Sunday, Feb. 23, the LI Nets will host their “Cross Up Cancer” Night presented by Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where the first 1,000 fans will receive a limited-edition co-branded purple sherpa blanket.

The Long Island Nets will then honor its sister team and 2024 WNBA Champions, the New York Liberty, during their “Girls Night Out” game on Friday, March 28. The first 1,000 fans will receive a limited-edition black and seafoam makeup bag.

To complete the Nets’ 2025 theme nights schedule, the team will celebrate Fan Appreciation and the Town of Hempstead during the team’s last regular season home game on March 29. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Dale the Eagle bobblehead.
