Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano will activate Nassau County’s Non-Emergency Hotline beginning today, Friday, January 22nd at 8:00 p.m.
Nassau County residents with non-life threatening emergencies may call 1-800-315-5153 for assistance beginning at 8:00 p.m. today. Call 911 for life-threatening emergencies.

Nassau County, NY - January 22, 2016 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano will activate Nassau County’s Non-Emergency Hotline beginning today, Friday, January 22nd at 8:00 p.m. as blizzard-like conditions and possible coastal flooding impact the region. Residents with non-life threatening emergencies should dial 1-800-315-5153 for assistance beginning at 8:00 p.m. through the duration of the storm.
All those with life-threatening emergencies should call 911.
