Merrick, NY - January 24th, 2014 - The Robbery Squad reports the details of a bank robbery which occurred on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 4:22 P.M. in Merrick.

According to detectives, a male white suspect, 5’ 6” tall wearing dark clothing entered the Roslyn Savings bank located at 2111 Merrick Avenue and presented a demand note to a teller.  The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot southbound through the parking lot with an undetermined amount of cash.  There were six employees present at the time of the incident.  No injures were reported.
