Lake Ronkonkoma, NY - January 23rd, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a man in Lake Ronkonkoma today.
John Grega was driving his 1999 Chevrolet Van westbound on Oaklake Lane when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree.
Grega, 52, of Campus Lane, Lake Ronkonkoma, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed or have information on this crash to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
