Female Suspects Charge $9,000 in Apple Products to Stolen Credit Cards, Cops Say
South Setauket, NY - January 24, 2019 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the women who used a stolen credit card at two locations in South Setauket.
A woman reported her wallet containing cash and three credit cards was stolen at Whole Foods Market, located at 120 New Moriches Road in Lake Grove on December 8. Later that day, two women used credit cards from the wallet to purchase or attempt to purchase approximately $9000 in Apple products at Best Buy, located at 261 Pond Path, and Target, located at 255 Pond Path.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
