Associate members Michael Ambrosino of Ambrosino Consulting and Salvatore Ferrara of Combined Resources were honored with Associate Member of the Year Awards for their support for CIBS’ Golf Outing and Annual Real Estate Dinner.
"Along with the celebration of our history at the annual meeting, it was fitting to recognize the individuals who contributed to the health and vitality of our organization, especially the founders of CIBS who, in 1992, believed that Long Island needed a unified voice to advocate for professionalism, ethics and camaraderie in the real estate industry. Over the past 20 years, CIBS has built its standing and reputation as the voice of the commercial real estate sector on Long Island," said CIBS-LI President Gary Joel Schacker, SIOR and Principal of United Realty.
Since its formation, CIBS has helped upgrade the industry by offering hundreds of educational programs, seminars and presentations; advocating for professional standards and offering grievance resolution; providing informal mentoring relationships; raising tens of thousands of dollars for local charities; and creating social settings in which colleagues have become friends and competitors respected peers.
