Elmont Teen Arrested for Assaulting Fellow High School Student

Elmont, NY - January 25th, 2015 - The Fourth Squad reports the details of an Assault that occurred at 12:30pm on Thursday, January 22, 2015 in Elmont.
 
According to Detectives, the defendant, a 17 year old male from Elmont, did push the seventeen year old male victim down the stairs inside Elmont High School located at 555 Ridge Road Elmont. The victim had borrowed $75 dollars from the defendant and the defendant kept a set of headphones as collateral in December 2014. Both parties were on their way to retrieve the headphones for the return of the $75 dollars when the defendant pushed the victim down the stairs, punched him in the left side of the face and took the $75 dollars. 
 
The victim sustained abrasions to his face, lost several teeth and his mandible was fractured in two places requiring surgery for repair. 
 
The Defendant was arrested on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 11:35am he is charged with Robbery 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Monday, January 26, 2015 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
