Valley Stream, NY - January 27th, 2014 - The Fourth Squad is investigating an Attempted Robbery that occurred in Valley Stream on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 1:49 A.M.
According to detectives, a 65 year old male exited the TD Bank located at 275 West Merrick Road when he was approached by an unknown male white subject described as 30 to 35 years old, approximately 5’11” tall, thin build, wearing blue jeans and a dark colored hooded jacket. The subject demanded money and motioned towards his jacket as if he had a weapon. The victim stated he was calling 911 and the subject entered a small green vehicle that fled eastbound on West Merrick Road. No injuries were reported and there were no proceeds.
