Shirley, NY - January 30, 2019 - Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that injured a man in Shirley early on Wednesday, January 30.
 
Seventh Precinct officers responded to Laundry Kingdom, located at 579 Montauk Highway, after a 911 caller reported a man shot at 12:49 a.m. When officers arrived, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. 
 
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
