Congressman LaLota Wishes Happy 100th Birthday to Melville Resident, World War II Veteran Eli Levine
On February 1st, 2023, Rep. Nick LaLota (NY-01) wished World War II Army Veteran Eli Levine a happy 100th birthday from Washington, D.C. on a FaceTime call into the Melville resident’s birthday party at the American Airpower Museum.
LaLota’s staff was at the celebration to present Levine with a 100th birthday proclamation and letter signed by the Congressman.
“It was my pleasure to wish Melville's Eli Levine a happy 100th birthday! Eli is an American hero and Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army,” said LaLota, a Navy Veteran. “We will never be able to thank him enough for his sacrifice and service to this country. I wish him and his loved ones the very best today and for years to come.”
