One lucky Long Islander is tens of thousands of dollars richer after scoring a winning New York State Lottery ticket at a Freeport convenience store, according to reports.
The winner in question purchased the top prize-winning TAKE 5 ticket at the Bodega Familia at 357 North Main Street and was rewarded with a cool $36,252 for their efforts, as per Lottery officials.
The winning ticket was for the Friday, January 31 evening drawing.
