The First Squad reports the arrest of a Uniondale man for an Assault that occurred on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 6:30 p.m in Uniondale and was reported to police on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 4:20 p.m. in Uniondale.
According to Detectives, Police responded to assist Child Protective Services at a residence in Uniondale. Child Protective Services was checking on the welfare of a 3-year-old child when they observed visible bruising on the child’s body prompting them to call 911. Upon Police arrival, Officers conducted an investigation and placed defendant, Ranferi Orozco, 26, of Hempstead Boulevard into custody.
Defendant Orozco is charged with two (2) counts of Assault 2nd Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
