NCPD reports the arrest of Ingris Reyes of Hicksville, 22, for Robbery.

Hicksville, NY - February 7, 2018 - Second Squad detectives report the arrest of a Hicksville woman for Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 12:30 am in Hicksville.
 
According to detectives, the male victim, 20, was driving for a local taxi company, when he picked up an unknown female in Hempstead. The taxi arrived in the vicinity of Jerusalem Avenue and 11th Street and the driver requested the fare. The subject displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s money. The victim complied and the subject fled southbound on Jerusalem Avenue with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
 
An investigation was conducted and Ingris Reyes, 22, was arrested without incident.
 
Defendant Reyes is charged with Robbery 1st Degree and will be arraigned Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at First District Court, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
