Melville Senior Critically Injured After Crashing into Driveway Embankment

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a one-car crash that critically injured a Melville man.

Melville, NY - February 8th, 2016 - Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a one-car crash that critically injured a Melville man.

Vincent Denino was driving a 2015 Mercedes Benz when his vehicle struck an embankment and overturned as he entered his driveway on Mary Court in Melville at approximately 3:40 p.m.

Denino, 68, of Melville, was extricated from vehicle by Melville Fire Department and transported to Northwell Health Plainview Hospital by Melville Fire Department Ambulance where he was admitted in critical condition. Detectives are investigating if Denino suffered a medical emergency prior to the crash.

The vehicle was impounded and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
