Shown here is an older woman in a shawl. She is holding the hand of a toddler in a white garment. Behind them is a house with a fence; most likely their home. This photograph was either taken or collected by Amagansett historian and librarian Carleton Kelsey. The photo is estimated to have been taken between 1875 and 1900.
