Even Mets legend Darryl Strawberry was spotted wearing ear for the long-planned Birdie Bar coming soon to Northport.

The owner of Robke’s of Northport is planning a new eatery to replace the old Seven Quarts Tavern on Fort Salonga Road. The new spot, called Birdie Bar, has been in the works for over a year.

And no, it’s not going to have a golf theme.

Billing itself as a neighborhood restaurant and cocktail bar, details are scant at this point. Openings planned for May and then September of 2022 never materialized (a report said in July the owners had still been working on building permits).

But all is not lost. A post on the restaurant’s Instagram page last week announced they were hiring. The Insta account is filled with people sporting Birdie Bar gear, including The Straw Man.

Everyone is anxiously awaiting the Birdie Bar opening.

Location: 688 Fort Salonga Road, Northport.
