If you were shopping at the Smith Haven Mall and suddenly got the craving for ramen but your favorite spot was just too far away, you’re dream has come true.

 

Yume Ramen moved into the mall (in the food court) and as the restaurant says, a bowl of their ramen is a bowl of dreams. Yume, according to their website, means dream in Japanese.

 

Off the ramen menu they have skewers (three pieces each) of Bershire Pork Sausage with spicy miso sauce and Yume kimchi ($4.99), Shiitake Muchroon with truffle soy sauce and parmigiano reggiano ($3.99), and Shrimp with savory egg butter and emani chips ($3.00). They’ve also got the staples like pork buns (two for $5.99), edamame ($2.99), and crispy gyoza ($3.99).

 

Ramen choices include Tonkotsu, which is pork belly, bean sprout, fish cake, corn, scallion, pickled garlic and nori ($13.99), Spicy Miso Tonkotsu, with pork belly, bean sprout, fish cake, corn, scallion, Yume kimchi and seaweed ($14.99), and Kombu Chicken in chicken broth, confit chicken, fish cake, seaweed, shimeji mushroom, picked garlic, menma and scallion ($13.99).

 

Then there are the cakes!

 

Matcha Chiffon flavored with Japanese green tea and fresh cream ($4.99), Vanilla Cupcake with fresh fruit and mango bursting boba ($4.99), Strawberry Chiffon with fresh strawberry, strawberry puree and fresh cream ($5.99) and their Taro Chiffon which is Japanese taro and yam, fresh cream and fresh fruit ($6.99).
