East Meadow Man Arrested for Burglarizing Local Dairy Barn

East Meadow, NY - February 10th, 2015 - First Squad detectives report the details of an arrest for a burglary that occurred in East Meadow on Thursday, 01/29/15 at 10:00 P.M.

According to detectives, Johnny Esposito, 38, of Bernice Dr., East Meadow, entered Dairy Barn located at 2805 N. Jerusalem Rd., by smashing a glass window.  Once inside the defendant damaged the computer software system, the alarm system and various merchandise items.  He then took multiple cartons of cigarettes as well as an undisclosed amount of cash and left the scene.

Subsequent investigation by First Precinct Police officers led to the arrest of Esposito on Monday, 02/09/15 at his residence.  He is being charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on Tuesday, 02/10/15 in First District Court, Hempstead.
