The Public Information Office reports the arrest of a Queens woman for an incident that occurred on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 5:30 pm in Elmont.
According to Police, Defendant Zeena Loor, 33, of 112-25 34th Avenue while operating a 2020 BMW X3 did sideswipe the driver’s side of a Nassau County Police Ambulance causing damage to the vehicle.
The defendant left scene traveling northbound on Elmont Road and the Nassau County Police Medic notified officers who located the vehicle. Officers activated their emergency lights and performed a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop on Elmont Road.
Subsequent to the investigation, Officers arrested Defendant Zeena Loor without incident. No injuries were reported.
Defendant Zeena Loor is charged with Driving While Intoxicated. She will be arraigned on Monday, February 13, 2023 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
