Officials Report Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Dix Hills Motor Vehicle Crash

Dix Hills, NY - February 15, 2018 - Suffolk County Police Second Squad Detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a 16-year-old male in Dix Hills on Wednesday, February 14.
 
Caitlyn Kennedy was driving a 2007 Ford sedan eastbound on Wolf Hill Road, at the intersection of Caledonia Road, in Dix Hills, when her vehicle struck a pedestrian who was on Wolf Hill Road at 9:45 p.m. on February 14, 2018.
 
The pedestrian, Abrar Shah Rahman, 16, of Dix Hills, was airlifted by Suffolk County Police Aviation Unit and transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he is in serious condition. Kennedy, 23, of Dix Hills, remained at the scene and was not injured. The investigation is continuing.
