Walk the streets of New York City at lunchtime and you are going to bump into a Halal food cart on almost every corner - sometimes a bunch of them in a row. The lines can be long, especially on sunny days. The Halal food pushcart has come in from the sidewalk and you can find locations throughout Long Island that offer that quick food service without the wheels but with the same bold, delicious flavor.
