A Korean barbeque chain is coming to the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove. KPOT Korean BBQ, with locations up and down the East Coast from Florida to Massachusetts and across the country in Texas with plans for Colorado and California, is a unique, hands-on, all-you-can-eat experience that merges traditional Asian hot pot with Korean BBQ flavors, according to its website.
“It’s hot pot and Korean BBQ modernized with a full bar and nightlife atmosphere,” the company says.
The restaurant is planned to move into the old TGI Fridays spot.
This will be KPOT Korean BBQ’s second Long Island location with one already open in Westbury at the Samanea Mall.
