Nassau Police Seeking Public's Help in Solving Murder of Hempstead Woman
Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department’s Homicide Squad are seeking the public’s help in identifying the subject(s) wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred in South Hempstead, New York.
On Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at approximately 7:40 A.M., the pictured victim - Rebecca Carlson, 39, of Hempstead - was found lying deceased on the ground next to a dumpster in the rear of Advanced Auto Parts located at 1140 Grand Avenue in South Hempstead.
Homicide detectives report upon further examination by the Nassau County Medical Examiners Office it was determined that the death is a homicide.
