Suffolk County Police Commissioner Kevin Catalina and Suffolk County Police officers will be welcoming local youth at the department’s first Kids Night Out event on February 17 in Hauppauge.
Ninety children, between ages 5 to 16, have been invited to have pizza and drinks as well as participate in fun filled attractions during the event. The youth will meet local police officers in a welcoming environment.
A special guest, Gary Brown, a 1997 Super Bowl Champion, will also be in attendance.
The SCPD Kids Night Out initiative will take place monthly at the venue.
