Nassau Executive Blakeman Presents Certificates of Completion to 169 NCPD Academy Graduates

The recruits completed 7 months of intense basic training at the new Center for Training and Intelligence.

Nassau County Executive Bruce A. Blakeman and Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder presented certificates of completion to 169 Police Academy Graduates on Wednesday, February 16, at 5:00 pm at the David S. Mack Center for Training and Intelligence on grounds of Nassau Community College.
 
The recruits completed 7 months of intense basic training at the new Center for Training and Intelligence. Of the 169 graduating, 158 are members of the Nassau County Police Department. 
 
The additional recruits are from Hempstead, Freeport, SUNY Old Westbury and SUNY Stonybrook. In addition to police recruits the department also has 3 Nassau County Police Medics graduating.
