Heir to the Hiltons Hotel empire, Rick Hilton, and his wife and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kathy, have put their lavish Long Island mansion on the open market for a whopping $15 million, according to a listing by the real estate agency handling the sale, The Corcoran Group.

Located in a gated community at 9 Fordune Drive in the Southampton hamlet of Water Mill, the parents of socialite Paris Hilton and fashion designer Nicky Hilton originally purchased the 10,500-square-foot estate - which boasts six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half baths - for approximately $2.4 million in 1999.

"This traditional home is masterfully designed for grand scale entertaining and comfortable living with 3 wood-burning fireplaces, a library, formal dining room, den, and completely private and spacious guest quarters," the listing reads. "All of the rooms boast high ceilings and generous proportions suited for the most discerning Interior Design. The formal living room is equally sophisticated as it is effortlessly casual; with bright views of the mature landscaping and reserves that also carry through all the rooms."

The listing notes that the Hiltons had recently installed numerous upgrades to the property, and that numerous high-end amenities are included that would make it a perfect place for entertaining guests.

"A recent renovation included the gourmet kitchen, all bathrooms, and grand primary suite with a spacious closet and a substantial primary bathroom with all the amenities one could wish for," the listing says. "An entertainer's ideal layout, with an immense amount of space both interior and exterior, with terraces off most bedrooms and a large outdoor dining pavilion perfect for hosting guests or enjoying quietly throughout your completely private estate. The backyard has a gunite pool with a hot tub and can most likely accommodate tennis upon town approval."

"Complete with a three car garage and Porte Cochere with a finished basement with substantial accommodations for both guests and staff make this a one-of-a-kind property in the most prestigious community with deeded beach access," the listing concludes. "Truly rare for something of this size, acreage, history, and condition to become available in Fordune, nestled on the border of Southampton and Watermill."
