Police in Search for Man Who Placed Skimmer Device at ATM in Levittown

Levittown, NY - February 23, 2017 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating an Unlawful Possession of a Skimmer Device that occurred on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 7:05 am in Levittown.

According to Crimes Against Property Squad detectives, on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at approximately 9:00 am, an employee at 7-11, 2901 Hempstead Turnpike, discovered a skimming device on the ATM.  Detectives were able to view the video tape from the store and observed a male white, 5’8” tall, approximately 180 lbs.; wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a black baseball cap place a device on the card reader slot. The subject then exited the store on foot in an eastern direction.
