NCPD: North Woodmere Man Arrested for Allegedly Possessing and Distributing Child Pornography
The Nassau County Police Department Fugitive Squad reports the arrest of a North Woodmere man for an incident that occurred on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 5:45 am in North Woodmere.
According to Detectives, a comprehensive investigation was conducted with the assistance of the NY-NJ-US Marshals Fugitive Task Force which resulted in the arrest of Steven Weinman, 60, of 694 Hillcrest Place. Defendant Weinman was placed into police custody without incident at his residence. The investigation is ongoing.
Defendant Weinman is charged with five (5) counts of Possession with the intent to distribute child pornography in the state of Texas. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead. Defendant Weinman will be extradited to Texas to face charges.
