Man Killed in Deer Park Car Crash
Deer Park, NY - March 1st, 2015 - Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a single-car crash that killed a man in Deer Park early Saturday morning.
A man was driving a 2007 Mercedes Benz E350 westbound on Grand Blvd. between West 1st Street and West 2nd Street when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a snow bank, a four-foot cement wall and a large dumpster. The man was ejected from the vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
