The Public Information Office reports the details of an Auto Accident that occurred on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in Hicksville.
According to police, Second Precinct police officers responded to a vehicle that had crashed into a residence on Gables Drive. The male operator, 23, had accidentally lost control of his vehicle while traveling southbound on Gables Drive.
The home was occupied at the time of the accident but there were no injuries reported. The home suffered severe structural damage. The Town of Oyster Bay Building Department responded and deemed the home uninhabitable.
The investigation is ongoing.
