Leading up to last month’s Super Bowl, Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School along with other schools throughout the William Floyd School District, participated in the “Souper Bowl of Caring”.

Shirley, NY, March 3rd, 2015 - Leading up to last month’s Super Bowl, Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School along with other schools throughout the William Floyd School District, participated in the “Souper Bowl of Caring” where students and staff donated and collected non-perishable food items to help replenish local food pantries. 
 
Nathaniel Woodhull Principal Monica Corona said that they used the excitement and energy around the big game to engage students in community service.
