AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for the following areas: All five boroughs of New York City, and Westchester, Rockland, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. Until 11 PM EDT this evening. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for the pollutant of Ground Level Ozone. The New York State Department of Health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very young, and those with preexisting respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. A toll free air quality hotline has been established so New York residents can stay informed on the air quality situation. Merrick, NY - March 4, 2014 - Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the pictured subject in connection with a Grand Larceny which occurred in Merrick, New York. 
 
On Monday, October 14, 2013, at approximately 6:04 p.m., the pictured subject was present at Extreme Gym located 2119 Merrick Road, Merrick. While present at the gym the subject acting in concert another unknown male black subject, did break into the victim’s car and steal her pocketbook, and wallet containing several credit cards. The subjects were observed at the Cross Town Wine and Liquor Store located in Freeport, NY, making fraudulent purchases using the victim’s credit cards in the amount of $500.00. The subjects fled the scene in an unknown direction.
