Oceanside, NY - March 5th, 2015 - The Fourth Squad is investigating an Attempted Robbery that occurred on Thursday, March 05, 2015 at 12:25 pm in Oceanside.
According to detectives, a 67 year old female victim was exiting her 2000 Lexus which was parked on Henrietta Avenue, when an unknown male subject displayed a black handgun and demanded the victims’ car keys. The victim started to scream alerting the neighbors to exit their homes and call 911. The subject fled the scene on foot westbound Henrietta Avenue.
The subject is described as a male black, approximately 20 years of age, fair complexion, wearing all black clothing and a black mask covering his face. There were no proceeds or injuries reported.
