Hallockville Museum Farm to Host Honey Harvest Get-Together March 15

Hallockville Museum Farm at 6038 Sound Ave, in Riverhead will host an afternoon of honeybee education and honey harvesting on Saturday, March 15 from 3 – 5 p.m. Master Beekeeper Chris Kelly of Promise Land Apiaries will explain the wondrous work of honeybees and will harvest and bottle honey taken directly from Hallockville’s hives.

Participants will be invited to assist with the process and get to take home a four-ounce jar of honey. Light refreshments including wine and cheese will be offered. The registration fee is $40 for Hallockville members and $50 for nonmembers. To register, visit: www.hallockville.org.

WHEN: Saturday, March 15 from 3 – 5 p.m.
