Staten Island, NY - March 8, 2017 - Two William Floyd High School winter track student athletes, Nigel Green and Trevor Wilkins, made it onto the podium at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHAA) Indoor Track & Field Championships held last weekend at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. Nigel Green was the public high school champion who placed third in the 300m (behind two Catholic school runners); and Trevor Wilkins placed seventh in the triple jump. The top eight student athletes in each competition reach the podium.

Both Nigel and Trevor have qualified for the New Balance Nationals at The Armory in New York City this weekend, in which they will compete against the top indoor track athletes from across the nation. Congratulations to the student athletes and their coach, Ed Noll, and best of luck this weekend!
