AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for the following areas: All five boroughs of New York City, and Westchester, Rockland, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. Until 11 PM EDT this evening. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for the pollutant of Ground Level Ozone. The New York State Department of Health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very young, and those with preexisting respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. A toll free air quality hotline has been established so New York residents can stay informed on the air quality situation. First Squad detectives report the arrest of a Laurelton man for his involvement regarding multiple larcenies that occurred between November 2014 and February 2015.

Baldwin, NY - March 7, 2015 - First Squad detectives report the arrest of a Laurelton man for his involvement regarding multiple larcenies that occurred between November 2014 and February 2015.
 
According to detectives, Christopher Moise, 27, of 220th Street was arrested in connection with a pattern of larcenies that occurred throughout Nassau County involving tires and rims from “High End” Mercedes Benz vehicles while they were parked during the overnight hours.
 
Moise was identified, at this time, as being involved in 3 of the 26 reported cases.
 
1.    January 2, 2015 - Tires and rims from a 2015 Mercedes Benz – Hampton Boulevard, Massapequa.
2.    January 4, 2015 - Tires and rims from a 2014 Mercedes Benz – Grand Avenue, Bellmore.
3.    January 31, 2015 – Tires and rims from a 2015 Mercedes Benz – Edna Court, Baldwin.
 
Moises is charged with 3 counts of Grand Larceny 3rd Degree and will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 03/08/2015.
                 
The investigation into the remaining larcenies continues and detectives request anyone with information which may be related, to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
