Kunga Kitchen Opens in Hicksville

A new Asian fusion restaurant serving up Indian and Thai food called Kunga Kitchen opened up recently and reviews online have been great for this spot.

 

Indian chicken entrees include butter chicken in a creamy tomato sauce ($17.99) and chicken curry cooked in traditional Indian gravy and whole spices ($17.99).

 

The Chinese and Thai fusion plates include Szechuan chicken ($17.99), Thai chicken curry in yellow curry paste with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, fresh basil and bell peppers ($17.99) and hakka chili fish sauteed with onions and green peppers in a spicy chili sauce ($21.99).

 

A lot of reviewers specifically commented on the heat in their spicy sauces.

 

On Yelp, Bala L, from Levittown, gave them five stars.

 

“Went to this place AGAIN,” Bala wrote. “Food and service is just 10/10. Love how everything you order comes in smoking hot!”

Anil S, from Sea Cliff, agreed.

 

“The service was on point,” Anil said. “Very thorough and thoughtful… We will be taking out again soon. So happy to have found this place.”

 

Nr H, in Westbury, also gave them five stars.

 

“We had lunch at Kunga Kitchen and it was delicious,” Nr said.

Kunga Kitchen is open everyday from 11am to 10pm.
