Roosevelt, NY - March 14th, 2016 - The First Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Saturday March 12, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. in Roosevelt.
 
According to detectives, a male victim, 14, was in the vicinity of 2 Centennial Avenue when he was approached by a male black subject that demanded his bicycle. The subject threatened the use of a gun, but none was shown. 
 
The victim complied and the subject fled westbound on Centennial Avenue towards Nassau Road on the bicycle which is described as BMX style, black and red in color. 
 
The subject is described as 5’8”, thin build, 18 years of age wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and grey sweatpants. No injuries were reported.
