A plan to build a new outlet center between Tanger I and Tanger II on an undeveloped parcel of land in Riverhead has been conditionally approved. On March 2nd, discussion continued at the Riverhead Town planning board meeting about the site plan application seeking approval to construct a 31,000-square-foot, 13-store, manufacturer’s outlet center was on the agenda, something that has been in discussion since last year according to reporting in Riverhead Local.
The planning department item says that a special permit was granted by the Town on August 16, 2022, on a 4.15-acre parcel of land located at 2009 Old Country Road, between Tanger I and Tanger II.
