Suffolk Police Searching for Stony Brook Thief
Stony Brook, NY - March 17, 2016 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole merchandise from a Stony Brook store.
On January 8, a man entered Lowe’s, located at 2150 Nesconset Highway, and stole a water heater and a leaf blower. The man then returned the items, valued at approximately $600, at the Lowe’s in Bay Shore.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
