On Friday, March 14, Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. honored 7-year-old Rayna Graziano with the Community Leadership Award in recognition of her extraordinary bravery and dedication to others as she continues her battle with cancer.

Rayna, who was diagnosed with lymphoblastic lymphoma, received the award during the “Shaves for a Cure” event at William Floyd Elementary School, which benefits the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Each month, Sheriff Toulon presents the Community Leadership Award to Suffolk County residents who go above and beyond to support their communities and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
