Nassau County, NY - March 20, 2014 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announces the final day to submit to the Long Island International Film Expo will be on Wednesday, April 2nd 2014. The Long Island International Film Expo (LIIFE) will hold its 17th Annual Installment at the Bellmore Movies from July 9th through July 17th.
As one of Long Island’s largest film communities, LIIFE features hundreds of short and feature-length independent films of every genre from around the world as well as informative and entertaining panels, celebrity sightings, parties and networking opportunities for those in the film industry and film aficionados alike. LIIFE, which was voted One of the Top 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World as per MovieMaker Magazine, has partnered with the Locust Valley High School Film Festival, including 350 students from 14 schools across Long Island and will feature the winning film at this year’s LIIFE.
