Man Arrested for Two Gun-Point Commercial Robberies

The Major Case Bureau reports the details of an arrest for the criminal possession of a firearm that occurred on Sunday, March 20, 2023 at 9:06 p.m. in East Meadow.
 
According to the Robbery Squad Detectives, Officers observed a grey 2011 Acura MDX exiting the Coliseum Motor Inn located at 1650 Hempstead Turnpike and commit a Vehicle and Traffic Law infraction. As Officers turned their vehicle around, the MDX pulled into the Sonic drive-thru parking lot located at 1754 Hempstead Turnpike. During an investigation, Officers observed the operator of the vehicle, defendant Kyle Williams attempting to conceal a white powdery substance believed to be Cocaine in his pocket and was placed into Police custody without incident. A search of the Acura MDX resulted in the recovery of a loaded and defaced Glock 19 semi- automatic pistol.
 
Further investigation revealed that defendant Kyle Williams was an outstanding subject in two gun- point commercial Robberies that occurred on the following dates:
 
December 21, 2022- BP Gas Station located at 1198 Front Street Uniondale 
 
January 5, 2023- 7 11 located at 66 S Franklin Street Hempstead
Defendant Kyle Williams is charged with Robbery 1st degree, Robbery 2nd degree, Attempted Robbery 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5 th degree and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law infractions. He will be arraigned on March 20, 2023 at First District Court located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
