Nassau County, NY - March 21, 2019 - Third Squad detectives report the arrest of a Wantagh man for Grand Larceny that occurred between the dates of Friday, February 1, 2019 through Friday, February 22, 2019 in Nassau County.
 
According to detectives, Kevin J. Toohill engaged in a pattern of stealing from automobiles that were parked in various commercial establishment parking lots. After stealing wallets and credit cards, Toohill would use the stolen credit cards to purchase gift cards from various retail locations. A thorough investigation led detectives to Toohill who was located and placed under arrest.
 
Kevin Toohill is charged with 2 counts of Forgery 2nd Degree, 10 counts of Identity Theft 1st Degree, and 12 counts of Grand Larceny 4th Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in First District Court, Hempstead.
