Nassau Police Seeking Suspects Who Burglarized Trailers on North Shore High School Grounds

The Sixth Squad is investigating a Burglary that occurred in Glen Head on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 1:30 am.
 
According to detectives, a 63-year-old male security guard called the Sixth Precinct police to report that someone had entered into two parked work trailers without permission and removed proceeds. The trailers were on the North Shore High School grounds located at 450 Glen Cove Road. 
 
Upon arrival, police observed a metal rod on the ground that was used to pick open the locks on the trailers. Proceeds missing were a back pack that contained two black iPhones, house keys, blank checks and assorted paperwork. The proceeds had a total value in excess of $ 2100.00 in US currency. 
 
Further investigation revealed that an unknown male subject wearing all black clothing and having an average build was walking around the trailers. The subject was then seen leaving the area on foot north on Glen Cove Avenue. 
 
Detectives request that if anyone has any information regarding the above crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1 – 800 – 244 – TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
